We launched a partnership with Plastic Bank in 2017 and right now support ongoing projects in Haiti, the Philippines and Indonesia. We significantly contribute to developing an intrastructure of more than 400 Plastic Bank collection points in Egypt. The joined goal is to reduce plastic waste in the oceans while improving the lives of people in poverty - especially in countries that lack waste management infrastructure. At dedicated centers, the local population can return collected plastic waste and exchange it for money, goods, or services. This material is then integrated back into the plastic value chain as Social Plastic. Hundreds of tons of that is going into our product packaging.
Aside from being non-harmful to our environment we have also made social responsibility our top priority. We started to cooperate with international development organizations such as Solvay and support local farmers for a more sustainable cultivation of raw material.
THE STORY ABOUT GUAR
Guar is an ingredient providing care of hair and skin. It is used in Nature Box products and 2017, Nature Box has supported the Guar Farmers in India in the desert district of Bikaner in India's Rajasthan. They are learning how to grow the guar and receive also social support like creating their own kitchen garden.

THE STORY ABOUT PALM OIL
Nature Box joined forces with Solidaridad for sustainable Palm Oil harvest. Solidaridad is an international development organization, to supporting small farmers in the sustainable cultivation of palm oil in several regions around the world. Discover on of their project in Nigeria - small farmers are trained and supported in sustainability cultivating palm oil. DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?
NO! Animal testing for cosmetics and cosmetic ingredients is prohibited in the EU. Naturally, Nature Box also follows this ban. We do not test products on animals at any point during the production process. We are happy to say that our products are entirely vegan.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?
YES! All Nature Box formulas are 100% Vegan. We do not use of animal products, by-products or derivatives into our formulations. And of course that includes NO animal testing as required by the laws.
